If an overnight stay is proposed

Compare the focus of each plan and discuss your health history and screening interests. The medical team decides which investigations are appropriate. A longer list or higher price does not automatically make a plan more suitable.
How to read the reference lists
Each men’s and women’s version has its own reference list. These are discussion aids, not a guarantee that every line is currently included or appropriate for you. Some rows are components of a grouped examination, consumables or report administration; do not count them as separate clinical examinations. Before arrangements, we confirm the exact examination list, any changes and the agreed service scope in writing.
Your package price and written scope
The displayed USD amounts are eastmedgo package prices. Before arrangements, review the examination list, included coordination and language support, optional extras, billing currency, quote validity and any applicable payment charges. Optional services and changes are quoted separately and agreed before they are arranged; clinical emergencies follow the medical provider’s process.
Personal coordination with a defined scope
eastmedgo provides non-medical coordination. Appointment administration, language support, accompaniment and report handover are provided only to the extent set out in your written agreement. Medical professionals are responsible for suitability assessment, examinations, clinical reports and medical advice.
Appointment coordination
We help request appointment availability and confirm the agreed screening plan. A first inquiry does not reserve an appointment; dates and any admission arrangements must be confirmed before you make travel commitments.
Pre-visit preparation support
We organize the medical provider’s document checklist and preparation instructions so you know what to bring. We relay clinical instructions and do not independently advise you to stop medication or choose a medical test.
Language and visit support
Your agreement specifies the language, appointments covered, on-site or remote support and any time limits or extra charges. A coordinator helps with agreed visit logistics; this is not continuous medical or nursing care.
Optional services and exclusions
Flights, visas, hotels, airport transfers, local transport, sightseeing, companion expenses and additional medical care are not automatically included. Extra examinations, medicines, biopsy, pathology, polyp removal, additional hospital nights and extended language support may have separate charges. Confirm them before arrangements.

Start a free first conversation through WhatsApp or email. Share your preferred language, travel period, the plan you are considering and any logistical questions. No account, online payment or medical-file upload is required.
2. Confirm clinical suitability
The medical team reviews the information it needs and advises on suitable tests. If further documents are needed, we explain the agreed recipient, purpose and transfer method first; do not send passport scans or detailed medical records in your first inquiry.
3. Review your written plan
Review the exact examination list, appointments, service scope, price, payment arrangements and cancellation or rescheduling terms before committing. Any examination not listed as included requires separate confirmation.
4. Prepare for your visit
Follow the medical provider’s individual instructions, including identification, fasting or other preparation when required. Confirm your travel requirements and the appointment location before departure.
5. Attend the confirmed appointments
Medical professionals perform examinations and care. eastmedgo coordinates only the support in your agreement. Let your coordinator know about logistical changes, and direct medical questions to the clinical team.
6. Receive reports and arrange follow-up
Collect available reports and arrange the clinical explanation or follow-up specified in your plan. Some results may become available after you leave Shanghai. We help coordinate agreed follow-up communication; additional consultations are not automatically included.
Plan your time in Shanghai
The visit length, preparation, any required overnight stay and report timing depend on the confirmed plan. There is no universal one-day or two-day itinerary and no guarantee that all results will be ready on the day of examination.
Original reports, translations and explanation
Before arrangements, confirm which original reports you receive, their language and format, when and how they will be delivered, and who explains the findings. An English appointment, an original English clinical report and a separately commissioned translation are different services. Translation does not replace the original report or a clinician’s interpretation.
If a result needs further attention
The medical team explains findings and advises on next steps. Additional consultations, investigations, treatment or travel changes require separate arrangements unless expressly included. Urgent findings follow the medical provider’s clinical process.
Preparation comes from your clinical team
Tell the clinical team about relevant medicines, allergies, pregnancy or possible pregnancy, implants and previous investigations. Fasting, bowel preparation, medication changes and procedure-specific precautions must come from your medical provider. Do not stop or change prescribed medication based on this website.
Understand the limits of screening
Imaging and blood tests do not rule out every disease. CT involves radiation and may involve contrast; the medical team should assess the benefit and risks. Tumor-marker results have screening limitations and cannot alone confirm or exclude cancer. PET-CT is not a routine cancer-screening recommendation for healthy people without symptoms.

Common questions
Is eastmedgo the hospital?
No. eastmedgo is an independent coordination service. The hospital provides medical assessment, examinations, clinical reports and care. eastmedgo's role and fees are set out in a separate service agreement.
Can international visitors request a check-up?
Contact us through WhatsApp or email before travelling. Acceptance, identification requirements, clinical suitability and appointment availability must be confirmed for your individual case.
Which package should I choose?
Use the options to explain your interests, not to diagnose yourself. The hospital should help determine a suitable plan based on the information it requests. A higher price or a longer test list does not automatically mean a better plan.
Are male and female packages the same?
Each version has its own reference list. Some list gynecological, breast or other sex-specific examinations. Final selection reflects relevant anatomy, history, clinical guidance and your consent—not marital status alone.
How much will the check-up cost?
Use the displayed eastmedgo USD package price as the starting point. Before arrangements, we confirm the examination list and agreed service scope in writing. Optional services, any changes, billing currency, quote validity and applicable payment charges are confirmed separately; the displayed price is not a direct medical-provider quotation.
Why is there a coordination fee?
Coordination covers the non-medical support included in your written scope, such as appointment administration, agreed language support and report handover. We explain what the package price covers and what is optional before arrangements. Coordination is not a medical test or a guarantee of diagnosis or results.
Are hotels and airport transfers included?
Only when specifically itemized in your confirmed quote. Flights, accommodation, transfers, companion costs and sightseeing are not automatically part of the screening price.
Does an inpatient package include a room?
An inpatient label alone does not confirm the room type, number of nights or included meals. Ask for a written breakdown of accommodation and related fees.
How long do I need to stay in Shanghai?
The schedule depends on appointments, preparation, procedures and any follow-up needed. We will request an itinerary after the hospital confirms the plan. Do not rely on a universal one-day or two-day promise.
When will I receive my reports?
Report timing varies by test and by any further analysis required. Ask which results can be collected during your stay, which may follow later and how they will be delivered.
Will everything be in English?
Confirm this in advance. An English-speaking appointment, an English hospital report and a separately commissioned translation are different services. Your quote should identify the language support and report format you will receive.
Can I use health or travel insurance?
Do not assume coverage. Ask your insurer whether the specific provider, elective screening services and coordination fees are covered, and obtain written approval where required before booking. eastmedgo does not guarantee reimbursement.
Should everyone have PET-CT or a cancer-marker panel?
No. PET-CT is not a routine cancer-screening recommendation for healthy people without symptoms. Tumor-marker tests also have important screening limitations. The hospital should explain why a test is appropriate and discuss alternatives.
What happens if a result is abnormal?
The hospital's clinicians should explain the findings and any recommended next steps. Additional consultations, investigations, treatment or travel changes are not included unless expressly agreed. Urgent findings must follow the hospital's clinical process.
What happens if I cancel or reschedule?
The specific cancellation, refund and rescheduling terms must be provided before payment. Hospital fees, work already completed by the coordinator and third-party reservations may be treated differently. Do not assume a universal full-refund policy.
What should I send with my first inquiry?
