Services, fees and your next step
Start with a free conversation. For any paid coordination, we agree the scope, price and arrangements with you in writing before work starts.
What the free first conversation covers
An initial conversation and necessary clarification cover your plans, the coordination process, available hospital or screening information, fee categories and the documents you may need. You do not have to buy a service. Medical diagnosis, image review, a formal second opinion, document translation and carrying out a booking are separate services.
What paid coordination can include
The written service confirmation identifies your contact person, service period and deliverables. The standard scope is one agreed visit or screening at one confirmed hospital: administrative document preparation, appointment and price enquiries, everyday Chinese/English scheduling communication, preparation instructions and report handover coordination. It includes one non-clinical follow-up within 30 days after report delivery when agreed in the confirmation.
Services quoted separately
Medical consultations, tests, treatment, medicines and admission are charged by the medical provider. Medical document translation, on-site interpreting, non-clinical accompaniment, transport and accommodation are optional and quoted separately unless expressly included. Visa fees and consular decisions remain separate. We do not charge twice for an item already included in your package. Nursing, ambulance and medical transfer require a qualified provider and a separate confirmed arrangement.
A written, itemised quotation
Your quotation separates medical costs, the fixed eastmedgo coordination fee and optional services. It states the currency, taxes where applicable, exchange-rate basis where conversion is used, payment dates, exclusions and validity. Our quotation normally remains valid for 7 calendar days; hospital prices and appointment availability have their own validity. A higher medical bill does not automatically increase the agreed coordination fee. Changes require a new explanation and your written agreement.
Who receives payment
Pay medical costs directly through the hospital’s official channels and obtain its receipt. eastmedgo does not hold medical deposits. The service confirmation identifies the individual operator responsible for coordination, the agreed payee and the payment record; these are checked before any payment. The usual coordination-fee schedule is 50% after accepting the written scope and authorising paid work, then 50% after the hospital appointment, itinerary and cost explanation are confirmed. Payment timing does not mean all work has been completed.
From enquiry to follow-up
First clarify your goals and available records. We then check the relevant hospital’s administrative requirements, agree the scope and costs, and coordinate an appointment once the hospital accepts the request. Travel and medical suitability are assessed by the treating team. During the agreed service period we coordinate practical matters and report handover, then complete the agreed non-clinical follow-up.
Medical decisions and your choice
eastmedgo is an independent information and non-medical coordination service operated by an individual, not a hospital. You and qualified medical professionals make clinical decisions. We cannot guarantee a cure, a particular doctor, a waiting time, a visa or insurance reimbursement. Any relevant commercial relationship is explained before your selection and payment. We remain responsible for our own coordination errors and contractual obligations. This is not an emergency service.
